Ana Hernandez, Ed.S
Ana Hernandez was born in the Dominican Republic. At age 14, her family moved to Brooklyn, New York, where she had been living until moving to Warner Robins, Georgia in 2006. She earned her BA in Psychology from Brooklyn College, NYC and her MSW from Hunter School of Social Work, NYC. She received her Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, GA.
Ana was a former classroom teacher for 8 years; currently, she works as a high school graduation advisor. She is the host of Estas son las Noticias-ESN, a local Spanish news TV program for Central and South Georgia. She also writes a monthly column for a Spanish newspaper QuePasa?
Ana currently resides in Warner Robins, Georgia with her husband Daniel and their two daughters, Dayanara and Alexa.
